This full body massage is based on Swedish techniques but involves deeper pressure and trigger point therapy and is more treatment focused for injury recovery or athlete maintenance.
Deep Tissue massage, concentrates on working in to the muscles and connective tissue deeper to loosen the tight tissue clusters. By loosening and realigning the tissue, the muscle improves in flexibility and range of motion. Deep tissue also helps break down scar tissue and adhesions, which can block circulation and cause pain and poor muscle movement. The loosened tissue in return has increased blood flow, which brings oxygen and nutrients to the muscle and removes toxins. This gives the muscle the opportunity to function to its full capability.
